Daily Duties at D.R. Horton :

Oversaw residential home projects for D.R. Horton’s Washington State division headquartered in Seattle. Worked on front-end of process, orchestrating plans and acting as a vendor liaison, organizing and administering multi-million dollar Direct, Land Development, National Account, Supplier, and Consultant contracts. Managed 35 residential home construction projects comprised of over 150 plans ranging from $10M - $100M. Implemented lean methods whenever possible to streamline processes and ensure project deliverables were achieved on time and within budget.  Performed extensive research and analysis to determine most cost-effective and quality-based vendor bids. Typically worked with budgets up to $500K per lot.  Managed all city permits, taxes, and vendor purchase orders within JD Edwards; created and maintained vendor contact logs and managed a vendor list for four separate division regions.  Traveled to Washington when needed to help streamline projects and work directly on-site with colleagues and vendors.
