Daily Duties at Mercury Consulting Corp:
Serves as a Senior IT Consultant responsible for working directly with clients to install and administer Lotus Domino, Lotus Sametime, Lotus QUICKR, Websphere Portal, Lotus Connections, and Lotus QUICKR for Portal. Collaborates with clients to determine project objectives, reach milestones, and exceed goals. Works with multiple clients across the Midwest ranging from simple installs to large scale migrations and implementations. Assists clients in making critical decisions regarding technology changes and upgrades. Supports business units to ensure technical staff understand specific needs of the individual customer. ❖ Works currently with a Fortune 500 client managing a 12+ month IT outsourcing project and systems migration ❖ Assisted Fortune 100 client in 14-month IT separation project involving extracting database intellectual property ❖ Supported Chicago area hospital in 6-month project selecting and transitioning to new corporate messaging system
