Daily Duties at Gb Lease Member Of Gb Auto Group:

As the Risk Management Director of GB Lease, I am reporting directly to the MD. Key departments reporting to me are; Credit Risk, Investigation, Remedial Credit Unit, and Credit Control & Admin Unit. Main job responsibilities are; 1. Identify, underwrite and structure risk strategies, policies and procedures, and strategic planning for the entire Risk management Division. 2. Portfolio management activities associated with the ongoing management, monitoring, approving and reporting of the performance of assets booked. 3. Measure, monitor, control and report enterprise-wise risks in accordance with the organization’s frame work. 4. Responsible for overseeing Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, and Liquidity Risk. 5. Ensure comprehensive identification, assessment and management of key risks to the group so as the facilitate achievement of business objectives. 6. Participate in the following committees; Credit, Executive, ALCO. 7. Develop and spread credit culture across the organization through training, counseling and advising; recommending action plans for overcoming any observed weaknesses. 8. Lends support to Credit and marketing teams in better structuring credits to meet clients’ business needs within acceptable risk criteria; and joining the business teams on credit calls.
