Daily Duties at Us Naval Research Laboratory:
Developed plasma-based surface modification method for GaN/AlGaN flat transistors and nanowires to facilitate direct biological attachment (antibodies, ssDNA). • Developed means of directly assessing biological interaction on GaN/AlGaN transistors electronically; initiated the development of an electronic model of molecular interaction on HEMT surfaces; and re-designed the transistor structure to increase sensitivity of bioFETs.
