Daily Duties at K Indred Healthcare:

IT Manager providing progressive leadership across Unix and Enterprise Backup Support, Virtualization, Project Management and Network Operations. During my tenure at Kindred I managed anywhere between 6 to 26 people depending on my responsibilities. These teams provided 24/7 monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, and escalation of system events, project management, Unix, Virtualization and Enterprise Backup Support. Managed the Infrastructure Department’s capital and operating budgets. Delivered presentations to executive and mid-level management for project review and approval. Provided consulting services to various departments. Team Leader for Unix Support responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing operations and fiscal health of the Unix operating unit within Kindred Healthcare Corporation. Supervised and delegated daily activities to junior team members while providing training, coaching, and performance evaluation. Provided budget information to management ensuring the implementation of cost control best practices. Delivered presentations to executive and mid-level management for project review and approval. Provided consulting services to various departments.
