Daily Duties at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center:

•Manage calendars, organize meetings and events for the Executive Director, Vice-President, Palliative Care Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner for the Palliative Care Program, Manager, Lead Clinical Social Worker, Care Managers, Discharge Planners and Social Workers •Daily AM assignment of patients to Care Managers determining staffing need based on hospital census, physicians on duty, clinical needs, etc. • Interface with patients, families, physicians, nurses, management and corporate departments •Prepare, coordinate and take minutes for multiple meetings •Interface with vendors, outside agencies and insurance companies •Provide IT support to CRM department •Provide support to Executive Management as requested •Maintain and develop data systems, online files to enable efficient use of shared databases, resources, reports, spreadsheets, forms and data •Coordinate in-services related to Clinical Resources Management and Social Services •Use of EPIC electronic chart system
