Daily Duties at Verizon Communications Inc:
• Managed all phases of service delivery operations for broadband products including Frame Relay, ATM, SONET and Ethernet from provisioning to test and turn-up increasing service delivery rates by 45% and customer satisfaction as measured by external vendor measurement indices. • Developed and implemented a training program for 11 direct reports which resulted in them meeting or exceeding job proficiency standards in only 5 months versus the company standard of 18 months. • Co-Developed and implemented a database and training program for Central Office Technicians which resulted in the elimination of circuit change activity and billing backlog. • Coordinated projects with Sales Channels, Service Order Representatives, Provisioning, Central Office Technicians and Installers in a database and matrix-managed environment. • Demonstrated excellent judgment in business and technical issue prioritization by troubleshooting and negotiating with key stakeholders to meet aggressive deadlines and managing escalations. • Partnered with Human Resources to achieve organizational objectives for staffing diversity, training, succession planning and lateral/promotional movement to a legally defensible standard.
