Daily Duties at The Kohl Group/Mta Nyc Transit:

• Managed a wide variety of activities to support the Design Manager in an ISO-9001 and ISO-14001-certified security-sensitive environment for Systems & Security projects including the $202 million Bus Radio System, the $50 million Bus Command Center, PBX and HVAC upgrades. • Lead diverse technical groups of Engineers, Architects and Telecommunications Specialists to support design activities for the new video wall and full range of A/V systems and treatments that will be the centerpiece of the state-of-the-art Operating Theater inside the new Bus Command Center. • Supported and coordinated the RFP and BID packaging process for Systems & Security projects by verifying the accuracy of documents and drawings prior to distribution to the general public, obtaining the necessary approval signatures from Senior Executives prior to Legal review and sending the contract to reproduction. • Scheduled and lead site surveys of a variety of communications rooms, subway stations and Transit infrastructure as-needed, including General Orders, to support contract design activities. • Documented and reported on internal labor estimates and field conditions that could impact the schedule and budget for Systems & Security projects.
