Daily Duties at Jp Morgan Chase:

Provide 24x7x365 Desktop and Level 2 Technical Support for over 200,000 JPMorgan Chase & Co employees. Provide 24x7x365 Break/Fix and Maintenance support for over 30,000 JPMorgan Chase & Co Servers. Reporting to the Managing Director of Global Infrastructure and Operations, managed JPMorgan Chase & Co’s Global Tier I & Tier II Distributed operations team; providing the vision and direction to establish a global Distributed Operations organization. Manage operating budget of over $10 Million and activities of over 100 direct or indirect globally dispersed personnel. Improved productivity and reduced costs through improved use of technology. Utilized Six Sigma, teamwork, and LOB partnerships to analyze, document and improve process and workflows. Spearheaded merger related activities associated with integration of the Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual Tier I and Tier II Server operations, Storage Operations, Netback-up, Batch Operations and Batch Job Scheduling & Engineering environments into the JPMorgan Chase & Co support model. Collaborate with Platform Engineering team to provide Global 24x7 support for the virtual server environment with a focus on reduction in time to market of new products and cost of deployment.
