Daily Duties at West Bronx Academy For The Future :
Administer assessment tools; such as DRA, McLeod, QRI to 60 students; achieving 90% of reading growth goals for 6th grade students as indicated by McLeod Assessments measured 3 times a year. Coach 6 teachers to develop defined roles, create backwards planned and common core aligned lessons, assessments, of which students content mastery of Unit standards increase to 70%+ Teach socially acceptable behavior; as determined by students individualized education programs (IEPS) by employing techniques in an overall positive behavioral support system Employ special educational strategies and techniques during instruction, demonstration, and work time that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate Managed and Updated a caseload of 60 IEPs for students Develop plans for effective communication, monitoring, and follow-up of students in all special education settings
