Daily Duties at Kean University, Fire Safety Training Program:
Manage office operations and systems, including hiring, supervising, training, and monitoring performance of clerical workers. Administer $1M annual budget encompassing vendor expenses, course design, instructor fees, and marketing material development; coordinate fiscal process and compile data for annual planning. Research, summarize, and report on existing policies, prepare analysis, recommends changes, and advise on organizational planning and performance criteria. Direct contract and bid process for all instructors. Facilitate scheduling for 100+ courses taught by 35 instructors at 19 locations, including creation and development of semester course brochure, Website, and other marketing material. Ensure compliance with state guidelines. Assist with payroll administration.
