Daily Duties at Kirkland & Ellis:
arrived at Kirkland at the outset of a comprehensive and ongoing federal antitrust investigation of the tire and rubber industry in which Kirkland represented the industry leader Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. I was intensely involved in defending that investigation and in helping to design and carry out a company-wide antitrust compliance program for virtually all aspects of Firestone’s business in that industry. Importantly including Firestone’s extensive sales and distribution network of company stores and independent dealers.
