o Managed inbound and outbound production of dock and yard operations to ensure the highest degree of customer service and safety while minimizing costs o Consistently sought opportunities to reduce the number of loads/routes out for delivery each day. o Created new dock layout and design to improve overall efficiency by minimizing cargo and yard movements. o Assured quality customer service, schedule staffing to meet productivity and efficiency goals, and approve exception processing. o Worked with dispatch and sales team to ensure proper forecasting and staffing levels. o Communicated with customers on a daily basis in order to keep their products moving and improve customer retention. o Counseled, motivated and coached employees through verbal and/or written communication to improve employee relations and terminal productivity. Evaluated results and recommended changes so that employees met established goals. o Improved inbound and outbound dock downtime by 4 hours through process improvement efforts and training.
