Assign legal documents for processing within our database to Paralegals. Manage the workflow and ensuring that due dates for subpoenas are being met in a timely manner. Research incoming correspondences to determine specific issues and determine the next steps. Handle inquiries from Paralegals, Internal Customers, Government Agencies, and other interested parties. Handle and document production duties via an electronic Data Transmission Service or by FedEx. Generate monthly subpoena volume reports. Update contact lists. Assisting with answering questions. Facilitate communications between Paralegals and outside sources. Assist Paralegals with their daily duties. Create Invoices. Michael A. Demayo Personal Injury Paralegal (Contract) January2016- April 2016 Maintained medical record operations by following policies and procedures. Redacted medical bills/codes from documents that would be sent over to the insurance carriers. Maintained a professional approach when speaking with doctors and physicians as well as insurance companies. Resolved medical record discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Abstracted clinical data coding, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems. Maintained the stability and reputation of the law firm by complying with legal requirements.
