Assign legal documents for processing within our database to Paralegals. Manage the workflow and ensuring that due dates for subpoenas are being met in a timely manner. Research incoming correspondences to determine specific issues and determine the next steps. Handle inquiries from Paralegals, Internal Customers, Government Agencies, and other interested parties. Handle and document production duties via an electronic Data Transmission Service or by FedEx. Generate monthly subpoena volume reports. Update contact lists. Assisting with answering questions. Facilitate communications between Paralegals and outside sources. Assist Paralegals with their daily duties. Create Invoices. Michael A. Demayo Personal Injury Paralegal (Contract) January2016- April 2016 Maintained medical record operations by following policies and procedures. Redacted medical bills/codes from documents that would be sent over to the insurance carriers. Maintained a professional approach when speaking with doctors and physicians as well as insurance companies. Completed medical records by reviewing information and making sure that any and all information would be beneficial to our client. Resolved medical record discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Abstracted clinical data coding, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems. Provided medical record information by answering questions and requests of patients, hospital staff, law firms, insurance companies, and government agencies. Maintained patient confidentiality. Maintained the stability and reputation of the law firm by complying with legal requirements.
