Daily Duties at Pioneer Custom Electrical Products (Pcep):
- Manage overall design of assign power systems projects, including engine generators, paralleling and transfer switchgear, protective relaying, programmable logic controllers, operator interfaces (including touchscreens), monitoring systems, and sophisticated networked controls; - Conduct power generation control-system specification review; - Conduct conceptual and detail system design analysis and create control sequence of operation; - Create PLC ladder logic programs, touch screen programs, protective relay settings and logic, test reports, and pre-commissioning and commissioning checklists. - Mentor junior engineers; provide design direction to designers; approve project- engineering documents, including bill of materials, schematics, and mechanical layouts; utilize existing design templates to engineer new projects. - Specify and document initial factory settings; complete all product testing prior to shipment; commission projects in the field and provide commissioning reports after the site visits. - Offer application-engineering support for sales, and prepare and deliver submittal documentations for assign projects.
