Daily Duties at Legal Assistance Of Central Massachusetts:

Worked with the Domestic Relations and Volunteer Lawyers. We took calls from low-income individuals seeking assistance with their various problems. The Domestic Relations Department would meet weekly to determine which of the cases were determined to be the most urgent. Once the cases were taken on, I prepared the documents that the attorneys needed to assist the clients with divorces, child custody, restraining orders or other needs. With Volunteer Lawyers we matched attorneys who were offering their pro bono services by specialty with low-income clients whose need was determined by our staff.
