Daily Duties at Wagly, Inc.:
Design and build company pet campuses IT infrastructure, from vendor selections, including install of hardware and software, as well as creating remote access for external users, for use of veterinary software for veterinarians not on-site. Support each location using propritory VPN software and ensure all servers were updated and functioning correctly. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, such as, connectivity issues, printers and VOIP phones. Record any IT related issues in a ticket system and assign issues to responsible person. Pier 2 and 3 tickets were normally assigned to me and sometimes it was necessary to have veterinary software vendor technicians included to resolve IT issues that could range from issues with the SQL database, which prevented the users to enter information, as well as slowing the store down. Normally, these issues were resolved very quickly. Major SQL database repair or upgrades were conducted after business hours, to prevent down time.
