• Oversee tax services for various public and private clients including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships and complex individuals. • S corporation subject matter expert for Minneapolis office • Directed Midwest Region's Financial Institutions tax practice (including Chicago) • Lead FIN 48 implementation and reviewed tax provisions for public and private companies • Member of GT National Tax Office team for Sec. 382 studies • Presented several training sessions in-house and externally (law firm, Bank Tax Institute) • Represented numerous corporate clients through IRS examinations and appeal processes as well as state tax audits • Grew firm revenues by expanding existing client services as well as new business • Chaired Tax Quality Task Force • Directed due diligence projects for both buyers and sellers in M&A transactions • Strong mentor and advocate of staff, seniors and managers through formal training, one on one discussions and on the job experience
