Provided guidance, leadership, and recommendations for key IT projects, acting as subject matter expert for multiple systems and applications. Ensured project designs complied with internal development and quality standards. Created DB2 table designs, as well as evaluating and approving table designs from other staff members. Addressed staff problems and inquiries. • Successfully delivered a project capable of gathering and manipulating large amounts of data in a global Parts Logistics Neighborhood application. • Reduced data processing from 3 days to 5 hours by replacing a RISC processor with a DB2 / OS390 and RISC application that used parallelism and DB2 stored procedures.
