Daily Duties at Sofitel Winter Palace Hotel:

(1) Controlling and monitoring quality of product and service in all departments according to the set standards of Sofitel. (2) Supervising the implementation of personalized service at the Old Winter Palace. (3) Supervising Guest satisfaction rating and responding to comments as and when required. (4) Forecasting & budgeting in coordination with concerned HODs and head office. (5) Liaise between head office in Cairo and Syndicate for their problems and pending issues. (6) Managing guest relation function. (7) Managing security function. (8) Coordinating with Central Sales Office in Cairo for hotel occupancy and sales activities. (9) Managing day-to-day operation in Rooms Division department. (10) Touring and inspecting all areas of the hotel documenting comments with Executive Housekeeper and Chief Engineer to maintain standards. (11) Managing Reservation Department and coordinating Yield Management activities with Head Office. (12) Supervising Top VIP functions "lunch, dinner, cocktails, reception,…"attending personally to VIP service. (13) Managing all operational aspects of special events like "Xmas, New Year, Gala Dinners, …" Number of staff managed: 300 – 350 associates.
