♣ Play a key leadership role in financial decision-making, providing financial input and leadership in strategic decisions as a member of the executive management team ♣ Monitor cash balances and arrange for debt financing to maintain adequate liquidity ♣ Created and developed all accounting and finance functions, including the implementation of a new accounting system, automation of variable compensation calculations, and implementation of proper fair value accounting processes ♣ Responsible for preparation of audited financial statements and footnote disclosures, NMLS Call Report filings, and GSE quarterly and annual filings in accordance with professional standards & generally accepted accounting principles ♣ Ensure the company complies with legal, regulatory and financial requirements ♣ Developed and implemented financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the company in order to minimize reliance on its parent company, SWBC Corporation
