Daily Duties at Austin Bridge & Road:
Directed the Human Resources team, promoting forward thinking analysis as well as guiding the administration and management of activities. Recommended and implemented new policies and improvements to existing policies as a member of the Corporate Human Resources Steering Committee. Supervised and monitored evolving information related to pay rates, labor availability and competition, craft skill levels, and union activity. Advised regional/project management teams on collective bargaining agreements and competitive pay rates in new and existing areas, and provided guidance by evaluating market conditions in potentially new regions prior to committing resources necessary for projects.
