Direct all human resource activities of the organization for eleven locations across Texas, Michigan and Colorado. Established strong alliances with executive team to drive HR and strategic initiatives. Advise CEO and other senior staff members on HR issues that significantly impact the business. Managed Human Resources staff, payroll systems and comprehensive benefit plans. Created and implemented professional HR systems and processes. Monitored and directed efforts in policy and regulatory compliance. Developed and managed implementation of succession plans to minimize competency gaps while prioritizing employee development efforts. Researched and implemented training and development initiatives to better position workforce by improving employee skills and competencies. Provided expert advice and guidance for improvements to the company performance appraisal system.
