Daily Duties at Albuquerque Public Schools:
Certified K-8 classroom teacher responsible for teaching all subjects in elementary school. As a Title I Reading Interventionist, provides daily, targeted reading instruction that is explicit, systematic, and provides ample practice opportunities with immediate feedback. Literacy Goal Team Chair - participates in current peer-review teacher research and presents professional development leadership training for staff. Included is the implementation of common core district collaboration. Other positions/responsibilities: Science Fair Organizer; Literacy Goal Team Chair; School/Community Liaison; Title I Parent Involvement Coordinator; Master Teacher Mentor for newly-hired district teachers; School Instructional Committee member; After-School Program teacher; Reading/Math Tutor for students K-8th grade; Summer School teacher; Developed Math Night Activities
