• Managed over 200 SKUs machines and 1000+ SKUs parts and accessories inventory, responsible for purchasing, demand forecasting and replenishment scheduling • Managed relationship with suppliers from Vietnam, China mainland and Taiwan; Negotiated on prices, shipping terms, EDT and payment terms; Oversaw manufacturing suppliers on product design, product test, packaging design and product certificate applications • Brought scheduling and shipping of containers, worked with custom brokers in custom clearance and transportation arrangements • Lowered COGS/Purchasing price rate from 120% to 110% by innovating supply chain processes and managing contracts with key freight forwarders and custom brokers • Monitored inventory in and out transactions, generated weekly and monthly inventory reconciliation reports to identify any process errors, worked cross-functionally with sales team and accounting team to get the problems resolved • Developed and maintained supply chain costs database including ordering cost, shipping cost, custom duty and custom broker service cost, inventory and warehouse management cost and so on, ensuring the pricing structure adequately reflect all logistics costs • Monitoring metrics such as inventory turn-over rate and on-time delivery rate to evaluate and improve supply chain performance • Initiated automatic drop-ship order processing in Dynamics AX between US and Canada facilities, saved 2 employees 2 hours a day • Initiated a shareable return tracking template to be used by multiple departments, ensuring all returns are correctly and timely processed and posted, increased reverse logistics efficiency
