Daily Duties at Cal State Northridge:
• Serve as key advisor to president, vice presidents, deans, directors of development and other university leadership on key issues of concern and identification of areas of opportunity. • Create and implement the first university strategic communications plan. • Provide leadership, vision and strategies for a staff of 20, including the areas of: o Marketing and Strategic Communications, including for the $125 million capital campaign for the arts o University Web Management (including Web redesign) and Electronic Communications o Government, Community and Donor Relations o Media Relations and Public Affairs o Editorial Services, Publications, Design and Photography o Strategic planning, implementing and maintenance of social media program including evaluating effectiveness.
