Daily Duties at Boeing Defense Systems:
Responsible for global sourcing, procurement strategy, contract negotiation, RFQ bid proposals, price analysis, and service negotiation for spare and production parts for F-15 and F/A-18 Fighter Jets. Devise source selection for competitive and non-competitive military-based and government programs. Manage and resolve all issues associated with suppliers by evaluating cost proposals, quality specifications lead and delivery schedules and maintaining inventory demand, cash management, supplier performance, daily requisition planning, review and purchase order fulfillment, and invoice resolution. Collaborate with versatile engineering and quality control production personnel in order to repair and return discrepancies cost-effectively, currently resulting in more than $30K in repair cost savings. Manage $15 million annual purchasing spend of Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) contracts Designed, implemented supplier weekly action plans, weekly update spreadsheets and buyer checklist.
