Daily Duties at Federal Bureau Of Investigation (1990 2017):

I am responsible for managing the National Security and Administrative Programs of the New Haven Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I am responsible for all operational, administrative, and personnel assigned to the Counterterrorism (International Terrorism/Domestic Terrorism), Counterintelligence, Intelligence, Cyber Security, Administration, Critical Incident Response, Technical, Surveillance, and Compliance Programs. I provide both strategic and tactical leadership, guidance, and direction for each program and to each individual component responsible for each of the programs mentioned above. I am responsible for the development of strategies related to the identification and prioritization of threats and vulnerabilities related to the New Haven Area of Responsibility, the development and implementation of risk mitigation initiatives and strategies related to the prioritized threats, and the quantitative and qualitative assessment of strategies and initiatives developed and implemented to mitigate the risk posed by prioritized threats. I manage all aspects of approximately 175 personnel and a budget of approximately $10milion. I coordinate on a daily basis with domestic and international law enforcement and intelligence partners, executives from private industry, CSOs and CISOs from the private sector, and members of academia. I coordinate and conduct training and presentations related to numerous topics and issues related to my primary program responsibilities.
