Over a 20 year career my responsibilities encompassed everything that was needed to justify, create, manage, integrate, develop and expand a field sales force that grew from 7 people in 1997 to over 1000 by 2016. That required gaining and maintaining high levels of trust from senior leadership and extreme collaboration and cooperation from support departments such as merchandising, marketing, credit and distribution operations. My major responsibility was to our customers and our associates by spending my time and energy to insure that each had the best possible experience at every touch point by following the principles of Listen, Learn then Lead.
