Coordinate directly with Design Engineering Manager, Design Engineering Leads to address production conversion of Universal Radome (GIV), design parts for GV design as built initiative, conceive elegant design solutions to manufacturing issues, burn down the number Engineering Change Requests: Completed production conversion of Universal Radome for the GIV. Configured GV Sta 632 Bulkhead Instl for design as built initiative. Designed machined parts to support bolt penetrations through Wing to Body Fairing that enter fuselage 12 degrees from perpendicular. Answered dozens of Engineering Change Requests with new detail part designs, addressing manufacturing problems. Mentored co-ops and new designers with CATIA and design support.
