Daily Duties at Target Inc:

Responsible for the operations, inventory, and maintenance of the 1.4 million square foot Fontana Regional Distribution Center. Ensured high level of service and productivity through the use of Best Practices for 40 million cartons shipped to 55 Southern California stores in fiscal 2008. Part of a senior team leading a team consisting of 7 departments, 50 executives, and 700 team members. Controlled $10 million budget including capital expenditure projects, distribution equipment, salaries, and general supplies. Negotiated contracts and maintained distribution vendor relations. Mentored distribution executives in leadership dimensions and culture focused leadership. Partnered with headquarter representatives and third party vendors to ensure OSHA, FDA, State/County/City regulatory compliance. Collaborated with the United Way, Goodwill, and the Special Olympics for community events.
