Daily Duties at Boeing 777 X Propulsion Systems Division, New Airplane Product Division, 787 9 Section 11 Structures:

Preliminary Design of 777X Inlet Assy: Conceived design of 777X Inlet Assy by applying inputs from Design Lead Engineer on project by controlling the size and location of all parts that comprise the Inlet Assy with a parameter driven RLM.The Production configuration of 777X Inlet Assy derived from layout. Design of Flight Test Parts for an alternate design of Inlet Structure flown on the 787 Eco Demonstrator: Acoustic Inner Barrel prototypes require Flight Test on a tight time line. Worked closely with Design Lead Engineers to implement their concepts for an improved Acoustic Inner Barrel structure that reduced noise and could be swapped out when other acoustic concepts were implemented. Completed the design and release of several detail parts, Component Assemblies and IRMs supporting Flight Test hardware for the Inlet Acoustic Inner Barrel ECO-D Project with parameter driven RLMs. Worked closely with the Boeing Knowledge Based Engineering group to improve their tools that enable more efficient creation of geometry needed to quickly complete layouts and release engineering. Section 11 Wing to Body Fittings: Negative margins were uncovered after initial release of Section 11 Wing to Body Fittings. Completed release of several Section 11 Fittings and the IRMs that install them on the 787-9 airplane.
