Daily Duties at Knowledgfactor, Inc.:
Recruited to implement a sales organization for North America for an early stage e-learning and process improvement company. I rebuilt the sales team adding 6 new sales reps and one business development rep that increased the client base by adding 20 new Fortune 500 customers. I implement a sales agent and channel sales program to attract new sales channel partners and implemented new sales incentive programs for both the direct sales reps and sales agents to drive more business. I created sales teams that had vertical responsibilities for such industries as Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Transportation, Financial Services, and others. I worked closely with the Marketing VP to create compelling collateral and worked very close with the VP of Professional Services to ensure customer hand-off and servicing satisfaction. I worked closely with the board and CEO to prepare sales forecasts and market projects in response to seeking resources and raising funding.
What they like about Knowledgfactor, Inc.:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
