Daily Duties at Stonegate Mortgage:
QC Prefund Underwriter Responsible for reviewing a 10% selection of loan files selected on a daily basis. Files are reviewed in a complete re-underwrite manner on all stages of the loan process from origination through post-closing Further responsibilities include but not limited to: • Evaluation of loan files for compliance with state and federal laws • Evaluation of loan files to determine compliance with both Stonegate and Agency guidelines are met for Insurability and Salability. • Review to ensure that the validation of AUS information is accurate • Makes determination on each loan file whether the UW decision, income calculations, value, funds to close etc. were fully documented and supported • Review tax returns and transcripts and ensure that transcripts were in the files prior to closing
