Daily Duties at Arrow Electronics:
Charged with a $35M sales and marketing P&L with 12 reports, I analyzed sales and marketing operations and instituted a new sales model. We revitalized the portfolio with new programs and go-to-marketing materials highlighting key service/consulting value propositions and tied services to related products. Spearheaded new services marketing by working with practice engineering to develop complete service delivery methodology to ensure revenue growth. I reorganized the sales team and added an inside sales team to help awareness and nurturing of prospects while delivering leads to the direct sales teams. I negotiated contracts with technology, and learning resources while recruiting new resellers. I also set up sales operational practices and integrated them with Arrow reporting and measurement policies. Achievements: • Concentrated territory sales by rebuilding existing inside and outside sales into dedicated teams resulting in increased sales by 15% YOY. • Expanded resale portfolio by developing new services, clarified program content and established go-to-market and sales training programs for Technology, Learning, and Cloud. • Implemented a Partner sales strategy that increased the number of VARs using Arrow Services by 60% • Added more than 100 new partners to our Cloud Solutions Services
