Daily Duties at Century Link:

Technician in CenturyLink’s 24/7 federal network operations center. Actively work with local exchange carriers and CenturyLink internal Operations Center to ensure current services are active and restored within the Service Level Agreements. Provide technical support for government accounts only such as FBI, NASA, GSA, Ditco, DISA and others. • Testing and monitoring DS0, DS1, DS3, P2P, and Ethernet circuits using INTAS • Actively participate in maintenance conference calls to isolate network issues • Isolating customer network troubles logging into Cisco, Juniper, and Alcatel routers • Troubleshoot Ethernet circuits, checking BGP routing and QOS
