Daily Duties at Buffalo Trace Distillery:
Responsible for 34 Union production attendants during first and second shifts of the manufacturing of premium single barrel and small batch bourbons (over 14 different brands, as well as various sizes, special customer requests, and exports) on six manually operated hand-fill bottling lines. Responsible for 12 processing technicians who support plant bottling through daily liquor processing (bourbon, whiskey, Scotch, tequilas, rums, vodkas, gins, and various cordials, herbals, and Schnapps). Responsible for one salaried supervisor, who assists in planning and supervising the main bottling hall’s processing production needs. Responsible for a yearly departmental budget of $2.4MM.
