Through staff development, training, and identifying corporate needs, successfully fostered a focused freight management team in an ever-changing diverse environment that involved additional product lines, 3rd party Global Distribution Center partnerships and imports from 80+ manufacturing factories. Promoted to Director in 2006 after business plan presentation outlining further drive for tighter controls resulting in higher freight savings, stronger customs compliance and speed to market. Motivated team of six and continually applied measures to maximize productivity in the Imports and Logistic department.
