Technical Scope: Oracle 11.1.0.7, 10.2.0.5, IBM AIX V6.1, RHEL 5.2, RAC, ASM, RMAN, AWR, ADDM, SQL* Plus, SQL*Loader, OEM, TOAD 10.0. Maintained the reliability and success of Oracle 11.1.0.7 and Oracle 10.2.0.5 databases on AIX platforms through installations and configurations. Utilized Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 10gGrid Control to monitor databases and application servers. Applied in-depth knowledge of AWR and ADDM as well as crafted and outlined plan for periodic performance tuning. Triggered improvements to performance by using import/export utilities for cloning/migration of small sized databases and data pump import/export to move data between 10g and 10g/11g environments • Configure Oracle Advanced Security on 12c databases to implement Transparent Data Encryption at tablespace, table and column levels; configured redaction using OEM's policy expression builder. • Expedited recovery of the databases and database objects by implementing Flashback technology of the Oracle 11g, 10g with recycle bin. • Performed full and incremental backup, both cumulative and differential, using RMAN and implemented recovery strategies. • Revitalized and enhanced security and functionality of databases by applying RDBMS patches and security patches. • Increased efficiency by automating processes such as moving files, managing alert log, and efficient backup through creation of UNIX scripts.
