Daily Duties at Frontier Communications :
Ensured seamless business operations by designing, developing, building, analyzing, evaluating, and installing database management systems. Offer technical expertise on multiple databases for production, development, test and staging purposes on Sun Solaris and Windows environments. Monitor maintenance activities including tracking alert logs, space management, undo management, compiling database statistics, handling database locking issues and scheduling jobs in cron. Implement comprehensive backup and data storage solutions. Upgraded databases from versions 9i to 10g to 11g and applied skills in data migration using export and import utilities. Applied knowledge in infrastructure setup for databases in large-scale datacenters and experience in writing UNIX/SHELL scripts for reports.
