In this role, I collected functional estimates from Matl, QA, Engr, Mfg Engr, and Assy departments, and input this data into a pricing model. Attend proposal kickoff meetings to go over the scope of work (SOW), and the work breakdown structure (WBS). It was important to verify the functional estimates complied with the SOW and WBS before inputing into the pricing program. Reviewed the finished pricing for verification. A cost volume was prepared and included the basis of estimates from the functional departments. Each cost volume was reviewed page by page for any errors. When the cost volume review was completed and errors corrected if any, the cost volume was submitted to the contracts manager for submittal to the customer.
