Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics:
Prepare audit program and coordinate date with the supplier being audited. Analyzed supplier proposals of $750,000 and greater to assess the reasonableness of the proposed costs. The analyses entailed reviewing a three year history of the BOM, selecting 80% of proposed material costs and verifying to current purchase orders: direct labor runs from job shop orders for the same and/or similar parts. Audit direct and indirect rates by reviewing the vendors payroll records, and general ledger accounts of specific overhead pools. Summarize audit findings in a report format and provide findings to material management for their negotiation strategy. Assist material management with negotiations. vendor quotations, and inventory pricing. and develop negotiation objectives based on the analysis. Perform other assignments such as fraud audits and international program office reviews. Train new personnel
