Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics:
Prepare audit program and coordinate date with the supplier being audited. Analyzed supplier proposals of $750,000 and greater to assess the reasonableness of the proposed costs. The analyses entailed reviewing a three year history of the BOM, selecting 80% of proposed material costs and verifying to current purchase orders: direct labor runs from job shop orders for the same and/or similar parts. Audit direct and indirect rates by reviewing the vendors payroll records, and general ledger accounts of specific overhead pools. Summarize audit findings in a report format and provide findings to material management for their negotiation strategy. Assist material management with negotiations. vendor quotations, and inventory pricing. and develop negotiation objectives based on the analysis.
