Daily Duties at Mitchell Rubber Products:
Created on- and offshore inventory costing models to analyze inventory cost and generate quotes for new business. Managed a $1+ million/year China supply chain purchasing spend of rubber products. Managed and negotiated with suppliers on price, quality control, and logistics. Sourced new suppliers as business expanded. Calculated bids for over 50 new products determining quote price and manufacturing location. After management review and approval managed all new products awarded to the company from tooling created in China to confirmation samples, final samples, PPAP report to customer confirming all product requirements were met, to final production in China or USA utilizing Microsoft Project. Operated in a ISO TS16949 / ISO 14001 environment.
