Daily Duties at Olympus Surgical:

Sales of pure Capital Equipment calling on a number of specialties who would need optics during a procedure (General, GYN, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, GI & Anesthesia). Because of the high cost to acquire the equipment and the infrequent nature of the purchase, there are many levels and depts. (including C Suite) that we have to meet with on a consistent basis to make the sale. So I am comfortable & knowledgeable on questions to ask & probe to find out who the decision makers are in order to advance the sale to get the win. Also, because sales cycles are 1 year or longer to get the close, it is critical that you have a solid pipeline to where you always have business getting ready to close! Responsible for monthly & accurate forecasts so you NEED to know the potential of your business a strong sense the month it will close!
