Daily Duties at American Red Cross, North Texas Region:

Champion end-to-end operations for the North Texas region spanning staff oversight, resource allocation, infrastructure, facilities, market trend analysis, and fleet management for 121 counties within an $8M+ annual budget, comprised of 27 facilities, 61 fleet, 70+ employees, and 3K+ volunteers. Mentor a team of 10 employees in addition to 20-25 volunteers simultaneously. Function as the primary point decision maker regarding construction, renovation, system upgrades, vendor selection, and overall facility-related initiatives. Optimize efficiency and employee safety by evaluating existing properties for potential repairs and/or upgrades. Safeguard organization’s assets and access to service by special needs populations. Partner with the senior leadership team for strategic planning, expense forecasting, and performance monitoring on a regular basis. Encourage regulatory compliance within daily workflows, particularly financial grant adherence.
