• Process and Code FBI Criminal, Statewide, and Local Record Checks for Federal Employment background investigations • Handle sensitive personal data for government background checks • Process and code FBI Fingerprint, Name Check, Statewide and Local Law Enforcement data for OPM background investigations • Process, Review and Code Law Enforcement and Reference Vouchers for Federal Employment • Use of the OPIS, PIPS, and PIPS-R Programs to access information. • Possess Current and Valid Top Secret (SSBI) Federal Security Clearance • Perform office duties essential to the Federal hiring/Security Clearance process • Identify and evaluate the seriousness of suitability issues in agency referrals and OPM reports of investigation to see if they meet to determine if they meet the established guidelines for further investigation and/or adjudication • Schedule field investigation to clarify or resolve suitability issues in order to fully establish the nature of the conduct in question and obtain the necessary evidence to adequately assess the subject's character and conduct and its potential impact on the efficiency and integrity of the service
