Daily Duties at Us Air Force:
Leads the Department of Defense’s largest clinical hyperbaric medicine department. Works in coordination with the Medical Director in recruiting, organizing, training and equipping the department. Mentors and trains an additional 98 personnel in the organization. Direct oversight of $12.5M system and $585K equipment; leads Education & Training/Safety/Supply monitors and validates requirements set forth by the Joint Commission, Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society and the Air Force. Directs clinical, administrative and medical operations for 13 providers; leads, trains, & mentors 54 enlisted to 3 Air Force Specialty Codes for 2 elements. Delivers primary care for 1.8K flyers and family members; applies medical standards for a 9K Active Duty populace; maintains readiness for 3 Wing organizations. Oversees medical resources a $65K contingency asset; develops and implements disaster team plans and leads emergency response.
