Daily Duties at Ice Attache Office U.S. Embassy Panama:
Interagency international effort focused on migration and human smuggling through Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador coordinated with respective Transnational Criminal Investigative Units (TCIU) in host countries. Focus on partner nation capacity building and training with real-time intelligence, interdiction, and investigative operations at international seaports, airports, land borders, and other locations. Operational and intelligence efforts to support domestic investigations and the dismantlement of transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) involved in the smuggling and trafficking of humans with a special emphasis to those with ties to Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) and suspected terrorist organizations.
