Daily Duties at Odyssey Healthcare:
New project/program development, design, implementation & management of superior innovative clinical practices, standards of patient care, and policy/procedures for the homecare, palliative care & hospice interdisciplinary teams. With a close concentration & monitoring of project design, clinical/operational quality performance outcomes & compliance with regulatory/accreditation agencies (CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, The Joint Commission), managed healthcare networks and company policies; a concentration on quality assurance & improvement, performance improvement, standardizing operational processes & protocols, financial reimbursement, business development/management, the development & implementation of various dashboards for data capturing review & tracking; EMR development & implementation for clinical documentation & billing practices. Monitored and performed on-site compliance audits of business locations to review performance practices and developed education, tools, training and processes to improve quality of company performance.
